The Eagles Nest Out of School Care Society Board Members are very happy to be offering this Program to families, providing high quality child care right in our school. Eagles Nest Out of School Care Society is licensed for 27 childcare spaces (6 Kindergarten and 21 Grade 1 thru 6). The Out of School Care Program will operate on the same calendar as the Edgerton Public School and is located upstairs at the south end of the School.

Because the Eagles Nest Out of School Care Program is licensed with the Province of Alberta, families may be eligible for Child Care Subsidy when your child or children are registered in our program. To obtain subsidy, application is made to the Provincial Government. Subsidy information is available in the Program room at the school from the Program Director. Subsidy information is also available online at www.humanservices.alberta.ca/financial-support.

The Director of the Eagles Nest Out of School Care Program is Rhiannon Cave. Rhiannon is fully certified and has seven years experience in the child care field.

There is a lot of flexibility in the Out of School Care Program. Parents can register for full time care for mornings and afternoons; mornings only; afternoons only or drop in. All children must be registered prior to participating in the program so registering your child/children will be important. Preference will be given to those registering full time. Drop In option is subject to availability and contact with the Director must be made in advance.

Registration Packages and Parent Handbooks are available from the Director, Rhiannon Cave, at the School, the Village Office and Edgerton Foods and Gardens Edge Café.

Board Members for Eagles Nest Out of School Care Society are: President Chris Hogarth; Vice President, Kaylan White; Secretary, Barb Sjoquist; Treasurer Nicole Bourque; Mandy Leskow, Betty Klasen, Brie Glaicar.
