With winter snow season upon us, it is important that we remind everyone of the importance of cleaning the snow from the sidewalks in front of your home or business. For residences, ALL snow that you clean from your sidewalks is to be placed on your lawns, NOT on the streets. The Village of Edgerton is pleased to announce that Wes Laporte has accepted the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) position, effective January 2, 2019. We look forward to building a productive and effective relationship with Mr. Laporte. The Village is excited to enter this new phase and to continue serving the residents of Edgerton. Recreation Board Grant Applications

The Edgerton Recreation Board is now accepting applications for Recreation Funding in the Edgerton area. Applications can be picked up at the Village Office, requested via email from admin@edgerton.ca or downloaded here. All requests MUST be completed on an updated Recreation Grant Application and MUST be executed by proper signing authorities. There have been some big changes in the Village of Edgerton staff! We would like to welcome Max McMillan to our team as the Village’s new Assistant Foreman of Public Works. We are also excited to announce that Judy Dickson is now the Village Office Administrator. Furthermore, we regret to share that Jane Scott has resigned her position with the Village of Edgerton. Leaf/Grass Clipping Collection

The Village of Edgerton is continuing the leaf/grass clipping collection program starting on Wednesday, October 10 until Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Large clear garbage bags are available at the Village Office, free of charge. In order for the leaves to be picked up your name needs to be put on a list at the office. Because the leaves go to a compost there cannot be anything else in the bags such as pine cones, branches or garbage.
