Making the Village Safer

The Village of Edgerton is pleased to share that we are removing the trees, brush, and old buildings from the property at 5020-54Ave. This will provide added security and safety for the neighbouring properties from the potential of grass and brush fires. Additionally, there are also 5-10 dilapidated building that are being removed that previously posed a danger to children, passersby, pets, and provided the potential for vermin to settle. Notice Regarding Waste Transfer Site

The Village of Edgerton would like to share a quick note and to apologize for a miscommunication that took place at the Waste Transfer Site on Saturday, January 6 resulting in the Site not being open at 10am. Our regular Site staff was not available on Saturday and a communication error concerning how that role would be covered occurred. Edgerton Emergency Service Advisory Board Position

There is an opening for one board position on the Advisory Board. This position requires that the volunteer is a resident of the Village of Edgerton. Typically there are 4 meetings per year where the board of 9 community members provide direction and support to the ES Department. ICE Villages Recognized

The ICE Villages, a collaborative program consisting of the Villages of Irma, Chauvin, and Edgerton, received a Municipal Excellence Award from Minister of Municipal Affairs Shaye Anderson. ICE aims to maximize resources through sharing, bulk and joint purchasing, and collaborative grant initiatives.

Village of Edgerton News October 2017 Municipal Election The Village held a Candidate's Forum on October 4. It was great to see community members, both candidates and members, come out to learn and share their visions for Edgerton's future. The Municipal Election itself was held on October 16.
